William Goldman, DO
Dr. Goldman is Addiction medicine physician providing services at Ravenwood Health in Chardon, Ohio. He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his pediatric residency at Akron Children’s Hospital. He went on to complete a fellowship in addiction medicine at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Goldman has a special interest in treatment of substance use. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Preventive Health in Addiction Medicine. He’s a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University.

Judge David Matia
Judge David T. Matia is in his 26th year common pleas court judge. He started Cuyahoga County’s first felony drug court in 2009 and is deeply committed to improving recovery opportunities for individuals both in and out of the criminal justice system.
Judge Matia served as president of the Ohio Common Pleas Judges Association in 2017. He has served on numerous drug related task forces including Governor DeWine’s RecoveryOhio Advisory Council, The United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio’s Heroin and Opioid Task Force, The Ohio Attorney General’s Opiate Task Force, The Cuyahoga County Board of Health Opioid Task Force and The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Poison Death Review Committee. He served on the Boards of The Keating Center and The Centers for Families and Children in Cleveland.
Appointed to the OneOhio Recovery Foundation Board in 2022, he remains focused on the equitable and effective distribution of the majority of Ohio’s opioid litigation funds.
Judge Matia is a frequent speaker on the topics of drug courts and the overall opiate crisis.

Nancy Duff-Boehm, PH.D
Nancy Duff-Boehm earned her Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati in 1985. She is Executive Director of Action Recovery, a comprehensive outpatient substance use and mental health disorders treatment clinic, certified by Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services and licensed by the Ohio Board of Pharmacy. Dr. Duff-Boehm has been treating individuals and families with alcoholism/addiction for over thirty years and has been supervising staff and students most of that time. The clinic’s Intensive Outpatient Program provides a full range of services, including MAT, for individuals and families facing the difficulties and complications of life with substance use disorders. She began her clinical work specializing in child-adolescent and family psychotherapy and has expanded her experience and training in the field of addictions over the past 25 years. She serves as Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry, Case Western Reserve School of Medicine. She is a past President of Cleveland Psychological Association.

Pavan Tankha, DO
Pavan Tankha, D.O. is a graduate of The University of Medicine and Dentistry School of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic where he served as Chief Resident. He also completed a fellowship in Pain Medicine at Cleveland Clinic where he served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Tankha has been practicing Pain Management since 2013. For 5 years he served as Chief of Pain Management at the Connecticut VA Healthcare System and an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Tankha’s practice specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic pain. He uses a multimodal approach to pain utilizing the biopsychosocial model to increase function and works with appropriate specialists to deliver the most appropriate care possible. He has published case reports, book chapters, and studies to help further advance the specialty of pain management. He is dual board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Tankha serves as Medical Director of the Comprehensive Pain Recovery Program within the Neurological Institute. He oversees the consultation service as well as offers interventional pain procedures and ketamine infusions for patients suffering from chronic pain. His role focuses on expanding intensive psychosocial treatments for patients to regain function and improve quality of life.

Gregory Boehm, MD
Dr. Boehm has worked as Medical Director of detox/inpatient addiction facilities since his residency and child/adolescent fellowship in 1980. Since, 2003, he has served as Medical Director of Y-Haven, a Residential Treatment Program for 250 homeless, alcoholic or addicted men and women.
Already board-certified in Psychiatry and Child/adolescent Psychiatry, he received and has maintained his board certification in Addiction Medicine in 2006, and was ABAM recertified in 2014. He became a Fellow of the American Society for Addiction Medicine in 2015. He served as President of OHSAM 2018-2020.
He became ABPM certified in Addiction Medicine in 2020.
His teaching appointments include 5 years as Director of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and Director of Psychopharmacology for the Child/adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Case Medical School in the early 1990’s. Residents in psychiatry and family medicine rotate with him, as he has continued on faculty since 1991 at Case Medical School. In his private practice, he started IOP exclusively for pregnant, addicted women, one of the programs participating in the State of Ohio’s demonstration project, the MOMS grant.
In 2017, he became Psychiatrist for Salvation Army’s Early-Prison Release Program and Human-Trafficking Survivors Program. The same year, he became a CARF Certified surveyor credentialing Addiction Treatment programs as well as being appointed to the ADAMHS Board, the county Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health Board. Since 2019, he has served on the ASAM Board of Directors as Regional Director for Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Christina Gast, NP-C
Christina Gast, MSN, APRN, FNP-C is the Director of the Ohio Mobile Outreach Team for Central Outreach Wellness Center. She earned her degree from the University of Cincinnati. Since 2021, she has specialized in Infectious Disease, developing and implementing Hepatitis A, B, C, HIV, and STI programs for Ohio and West Virginia. Her focus is on linking patients to care and cure.
Christina is a passionate advocate for health equality, harm reduction, and the elimination of hepatitis. She actively engages in community outreach, education, and policy advocacy to address healthcare disparities. In May 2024, she presented at the Appalachian Syndemic Summit, sharing innovative strategies for improving health outcomes in underserved areas.
Beyond her role at Central Outreach Wellness Center, Christina collaborates with various organizations to promote public health initiatives and mentor future healthcare professionals, emphasizing compassionate care and advocacy.
Heather Mohrman
Heather is the co-founder of Sanctuary Night and has nearly 18 years of experience serving at-risk women. She was previously the community provider at Rachel’s House in Franklinton and a Franklin County Municipal Court Probation Officer (CATCH and Opiate Extension Program). She lived in Franklinton for nearly 18 years. In addition to Heather’s role at Sanctuary Night, she leads the Expanded Ohio HIV/HCV Partnership as Co-Principal Investigator. She currently resides in Bexley, loves to travel, loves the wilderness, and cheering embarrassingly loud during her children’s extra curricular activities.
Melanie Quolke, MPA
Passionate about leveraging data for societal progress, Melanie Quolke is a dynamic researcher with a commitment to effecting positive change. With a background in Behavioral Economics and a Master’s in Public Administration, Melanie adeptly combines interdisciplinary approaches to address complex challenges. Currently serving as a Research Associate on the Planning, Evaluation, Education, and Research Team at Ohio University’s Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service, Melanie excels in quantitative analysis, data coordination, and management, delivering valuable insights for projects like the Ohio HIV/HCV Expanded Partnership, PREP and Charting the Course for Economic Mobility and Responsible Parenting (CCEMRP). With proficiency in survey design, data aggregation, and meticulous data management, Melanie contributes to impactful research outcomes.
AmandaLynn Reese
AmandaLynn Reese is the Chief Program Officer at Harm Reduction Ohio. She is a dedicated advocate with expertise in harm reduction, policy development, and program management.
Regarded for her exceptional work in outreach and her instrumental role in running the state’s largest naloxone distribution program, she has made a impact on saving lives and improving access to critical medication. AmandaLynn’s unwavering commitment to helping individuals affected by substance use issues is evident through her expertise in outreach strategies, which have effectively reached vulnerable populations.
Additionally, she serves as the Director of Government Advocacy with Velocity Biogroup. While acting as national government affairs consultant, you’ll find her providing expertise in harm reduction, naloxone access, and policy development. Empowering organizations to make a lasting impact in addressing substance use issues.
Beyond her professional pursuits, AmandaLynn enjoys exploring national parks with her husband and son and immersing herself in the vibrant world of theatre with her loved ones.

Eric Dobson MD
Eric Dobson, MD is an addiction psychiatrist at MetroHealth Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed medical school at University of Cincinnati, then completed both psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. Clinically, he focuses on acute psychiatric stabilization of dual diagnosis patients as well as treatment of opioid use disorder. His academic interests include novel psychoactive substances and both medical and non-medical use of hallucinogens or psychedelics. He was the principal investigator of an open-label clinical trial of ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for depression in patients with remitted opioid use disorder. He also works with the Ohio Department of Medicaid as a clinical lead on various Care Innovation and Community Improvement Program (CICIP) behavioral health and substance use disorder initiatives

Carolyn Chan MD, MHS is board certified in both internal and addiction medicine. She completed her IM residency at UH Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, followed by an addiction medicine and medical education fellowship at Yale. She is the co-host of the Curbsiders Addiction Medicine Podcast, and currently the Program Director of the University of Cincinnati Addiction Medicine Fellowship. She provides care in both inpatient and outpatient addiction medicine settings.
