THE ADDICTION PROVIDERS’ ECHO PROJECT

We invite all Addiction Medicine and Addiction Psychiatry healthcare practitioners at all levels to earn free CME’s through the ECHO project. Meeting virtually every Friday, these hub-and-spoke style discussions present cutting edge treatment practices, field questions and provide essential networking to increase levels of care throughout the state.

Getting Ready for the Changes in E/M – 2021 Coding and Documentation for Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine
Big changes are ahead in the coding, documentation and payment of evaluation and management services that go into effect on Jan. 1, 2021, as well as changes/updates in coding and documentation for psychiatry and addiction medicine. The Ohio Psychiatric Physicians Association (OPPA) is offering a series of on-demand webinars to assist psychiatrists and other behavioral health clinicians (and their staffs) prepare for the changes. The webinars will be available in early December and details can be found here (go to On Demand). The OPPA is offering a discount to members of OSAM, who register for the full series. When completing the on-line registration, simply add the code: OSAM2020 to receive the reduced rate.
